Who we are
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13)
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, His work of redemption and in the word of God – the Bible.
As believers in Christ, we are designated as Christians, according to Acts 11:26, “And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” We have no other name.
What we do
“And they continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of hearts,” (Acts 2:46)
We meet as the church in Fountain Valley, as the Bible shows us concerning the first Christians in the book of Acts.
Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace! Our concern corresponds with the writings of the Apostle Paul given in Ephesians 4:4-6,
“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
Likewise God wants to have an expression for Himself through the church in each locality. We practice this according to the Biblical principle.
We invite all true believers to join in the practical building up of the church in Fountain Valley. God seeks overcomers today who have the courage to overcome all the traditional concepts, barriers and so forth. We pray that God establishes the unity of the Spirit among His people in these days.
